Youth Mattering Webinar with Dr. Gordon Flett

On October 6, 2021, MRBN presented a 2-hour webinar on Youth Mattering. Dr. Gordon Flett, author of The Psychology of Mattering: Understanding the Human Need to be Significant, provided insight into the science and evidence on Youth Mattering, issues of youth social anxiety and perfectionism, and strategies for communities to enhance support for Youth Mattering. A panel of Maine experts offered perspectives on how Youth Mattering and connectedness affect their work.
