Strategies to Cultivate Youth Mattering
February 28, 2023: 1:00-2:00 PM
Together we will explore the science of mattering and the effects on well-being and health. Strategies will be introduced to cultivate mattering in communities. Mattering is a protective factor that reduces the likelihood of poor mental health and other risks such as suicide and substance misuse. Participants will leave with an understanding of the science of mattering, learn strategies and discuss ways to cultivate mattering as a primary prevention strategy.
