On Tuesday, May 5, 2020, MRBN will host an all day conference on HOPE facilitated by pediatrician and researcher Dr. Robert Sege from Tufts University School of Medicine.
HOPE (Healthy Outcomes from Positive Experiences) is a new way of understanding key positive childhood experiences that allow children to grow and develop into healthy and resilient adults. Positive childhood experiences (PCEs) support child development and protect against the effects of ACEs. Assessing positive childhood experiences allows people to identify their sources of strength beyond the history of traumas they have endured. HOPE supports families, health equity and resilience in the face of historic trauma and institutional racism. Please join us May 5th in Portland to learn about the research and applications for practice within your profession.
Further details and registration will be announced soon.
