The Saco and Biddeford School Departments are partnering for a 1st Annual SEL Summit in southern Maine. The purpose of the summit is to provide educators - administrators and teachers - with needed SEL tools to prepare for a successful SY 2019-2020. The summit is a balance of two days of planned sessions (SecondStep Curriculum training, Yoga4Classroom training, mindfulness and trauma-informed trainings), and an unconference on the final day, to allow participants to reflect upon new learning, to explore further SEL programs, and to plan for successful implementation. Please join us August 19th through 21st at Biddeford Middle School! PD Brochure Contact Julie Smyth at jsmyth@sacoschools.org for more information.
