A New Look at “Mindfulness” in Our Work with Families
Featuring: Michael Trout, MAInfant-Parent Institute, Urbana, Illinois
We are excited to have Michael Trout back in Maine as our presenter. Michael first introduced Maine to the relatively new field of infant mental health in 1979. He was a conference presenter and instructor of several offerings of an introductory course. As a result of his training, clinical experiences, and charismatic skills as a teacher, Maine's enthusiasm for the work involved in infant mental health grew.
And as we continue learning and focusing on mindfulness, Michael explores the idea with us "that the mindfulness we so wish for parents to demonstrate must first be found in ourselves."
